European Trademark Registration

Geissler & Associates offers legal services in relation to the registration of trademarks in Europe.

The European trademark system is based on the Council of the European Union (Council Regulation (EC) No 40/94 of 20 December 1993 on the Community trade mark) and is administered by Office of Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM). European trademarks are called Community Trademarks (CTM's).

European Trademark Fees

Separate fees are levied for each trade category and for each jurisdiction where registration is sought. Typically, however, the costs per trademark or service mark, inclusive of legal research, filing fees and professional fees, are as follows.

Slightly higher fees are charged for International Trademark Registration pursuant to the Madrid Agreement and Protocol.
